Both teams are winners...!

Yup. It's true. Both teams are winners. Whichever way it goes. Both teams are terrific. Both deserve to lift the World Cup. Alas, someone has to lose. Let's hope it isn't us. But even if.... I hope and pray we take it on the chin and lose like champions, not cry babies and spoilsports. I hope the crowds cheer equally for both sides. I hope nobody boos a great shot , regardless of the nationality of the player. I hope we don't disgrace ourselves by wearing our chavinism on the sleeve. I hope fans applaud both Captains in the end. It's all about playing the game. And playing it honourably. In the spirit of , "May the best side win." To be a gracious loser in life is sometimes more important than winning . We are up against a brilliant team. But even they must be nervous, playing India ( and Sachin!) on home ground. Any competition eventually boils down to a game of nerves. The team that stays cool, fights hard but fairly and plays as a tight unit, is the one that generally wins. Then there is chance... aha .... chance. That fickle, disloyal mistress nobody can own or tame. Well - Here's to an unforgettable World Cup Final tomorrow. I have kept the champagne on ice. I get the feeling I'm going to drink a lot of it tomorrow night. Cheers! And good luck, Boys. It's the Sri Lankan Tigers versus the Indian Elephants. Both are mighty adversaries in and out of the jungle. It's going to be the Big One....perhaps the biggest.

Sportsmanship has gone out of the window ages ago...
Lets hope we behave ourselves as we are the host. Win or loose.
Prefer the former ha!ha! but better team wins hands down.

Cheers!

Be it flowers, be it foods, be it something else, your gifts are the identity of your inner self. This is very much true for this Mother’s Day; because you cant share this precious emotional feeling with anybody else, but with your Mom.
