Look at what's happening in other countries. Look at the Arab Spring. Look at the young all across the world.... when they feel strongly enough, they do something about it. The young of India have to do that...."<br />With all my respect let me say that passionate youth across the world (a-la Che Guevara) hasn't got anything to do with realpolitik. All they can do is to serve as cannons' meat for Big Uncles goals and fertilize soil with their flesh. And Mrs De is intelligent enough to realize that the ongoing "Arab Spring" is a result of activities of a huge, professionally adjusted, meticulously refined mechanism aimed at drastic change of geo-political map for ensuing decades. So please. The citation given above somewhat fits to a 15 y.o. idealist, but even at 20 it may sound...a bit ridiculous. I was born in an extend family where...Beautiful!!!! I was born in an extend family where our magnificent century old home was surrounded by factory that size larger than our home. Women in family worked as hard as men, running the business that still exist today. As a kid, we were all admitted to HH THE DALAI LAMA's school in Mussoorie. My elder cousin sister still runs the business, tirelessly traveling abroad breaking sky rocket deals, yet a kind mother, founder of an elementary school, billionaire, & of all that proud Alma mater of DALAI LAMA's school in Mussoorie. While growing up POLITICS or POLITICIANS (not leaders) have always looked down in our home. Neither the men, nor the women in my family have ever favor or friends with any politicians. Instead I have always seen my uncle complain about how lowly they are when it comes corruption. But thankfully his agony & allergic towards these money hunger-opportunistic had successfully lead him to still possess every single penny that he owns. His sincerity and intelligent has topped all those thick skin public servant. Neither, he has waste single penny on any elite school, nor on any of these time pass politicians. Instead in our eyes that has grant us a bundle & bundle of joy & respect, along with this sense of self awareness towards any opportunistic time pass people (specially politicians & masked/smily public servants). It was that deep that I don't think I would ever get impressed, marry, or have any sort of respect or inspiration from the people from that particular field. Unless I get robbed or kidnap by them to breath under one roof. You're right about children ROFL at parents for reciting the mantra of nobility that they don't even practice, after all we do live in an interesting times. And I'm so lucky that the elders in my family are far from "an average parents." They've lived & played by their own rules. So proud this beautiful {second nature} that I inherit from my family. Perhaps that might be the reason I'm so fearless, satisfied, & happy all the time! PS: This comment is regarding your take on idealism & politician! <br /><br />Have you ever heard or seen Deepak Chopra's daughter Malika speak on her up bringing??? Well, I had once saw this YouTube clip on her facebook & it really impressed me. Something that was new to me but it has a beautiful human-spirit embedded to it. She has reveled while growing up her father has disciplined both siblings to meditate & recite this self made mantra five times every day. Loved the concept in that mantra. Your words on teaching children to be able to have their own self respect & being able to look in the mirror without any doubt remind me of my own up bringing & this awesome tale of MALLIKA CHOPRA'S intent talk. :-) <br />Lastly, people who hide things & pretend to have jewel of secrets always made me ROFL within. If only mistery could be real. Although I was and had been the recipient of that supperfecial impression as far as I could remember. Only to fell pity on their bewildered guessing game.
