Madam, your article on new RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan , in ET ; was in bad taste. what SRK or Ranbir Kapoor has to do with this highly educated professional ?
Please allow Mr.Rajan to work peacefully as he is handling most crucial portfolio in the country. Don't make fun of him.

Certainly there is new Superstar on the scene. Very soon most of the Indians would be carrying his autographs in their wallets with a promise to pay.

Satish, it's odd that you think Rajan is better than SRK or Ranbir Kapoor. Sadly, you are incorrect. For whatever qualifications Rajan possesses, he can’t shake a leg or act like SRK or Randir Kapoor. So, how does having a better education make one superior over the other?! It’s isn’t “the yardstick” to measure one’s profession or standing. For that matter, actors are awarded with degrees in other countries. If the same goes here, wouldn’t SRK and Ranbir Kapoor be far more qualified than Mr. Rajan?

Now, about the article, the tone and the way it is written definitely implies that it is in a lighter vein. So, there’s no need to raise a hue and cry and get critical about the author. Anyway, tell me, isn’t Rajan already in a deep crisis because of our greedy and manipulative politicians who are at the helm of affairs? So why condemn an article that only tries to add colour to an otherwise serious paper like the Economic Times? It’s time we Indians stopped looking at things narrowly.

Dear Mr.Daniel, R.B.I.Governor Mr.Raghuram Rajan has not been appointed to shake leg/dance like Bollywood actors. He is supposed to shake our ailing economy which is in duress not only due to our greedy politicians but also due to slowdown in the U.S.
As it is, we Indians love eating, dancing, celebrating festivals, watching cricket, discussing gossip etc. but we are not that concerned about education. It's okay to have fun sometimes but when it comes to a national calamity, one needs to have serious approach towards it.
